Review Request for Website not in Clearinghouse

If you would like StopBadware.org to review the inclusion of your website in the Badware Website Clearinghouse, please complete the following steps and submit the web form below. Note: Completing steps 1-3 can significantly shorten the length of time required to process your review.

1) Read through any information available on stopbadware.org about the badware that was found on your website. To see information that we have found or that was sent to us by trusted third-parties, search for your site in the Badware Website Clearinghouse. If your site is the subject of a Google warning page, you can also find this information by clicking on the link for StopBadware.org that is located on the Google warning page.

2) Read through our Tips for Cleaning & Securing Your Website page to find out how to clean and secure your site. If your site is the subject of a Google warning page, also read through our answers to frequently asked questions about Google warnings.

3) Remove all badware and links to badware from your website, and fix any security vulnerabilities that are present on your site. If you eliminate all badware and certify that you have done so before submitting a request for review (step 4), then your review may be processed much more quickly. In addition, fixing security vulnerabilities will help prevent badware from being injected onto your site in the future, and thus reduce the probability that your site will be submitted to the Badware Website Clearinghouse again.

4) After you have completed steps 1-3, submit a separate request for each website you want reviewed using the following web form. Please note: If your site was reported to the Badware Website Clearinghouse by a third party, we will forward that third party all the information you submit on this form. Also, we may display the information that you submit (except for the "Your name" and "Your Email Address" fields) on our website. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

This form is only for requesting a review of sites that have been flagged as a badware website by one of StopBadware's trusted third parties (e.g., Google), but that are NOT yet listed in the Badware Website Clearinghouse.
